Congratulations on being the first. Smiley. I moved away from Ocean Shores a few years ago (still in Washington State) to help out with some family members battling illness. I still come down to visit friends and to enjoy the beach every once in awhile. The website I was maintaining here was so inundated with spam I ended up uninstalling the old board and re-installed with this new one which wiped all the old stuff away. Still have a battle with the spammers but it is much easier to handle and stay on top of now. Anyway glad to have you on the board hopefully people will begin to use it once again.

If ya go thru the list of members, You'll quickly see where those spammers come from.

I might suggest deleting all members with less than 1 post. In fact, delete 'em all! I had to re-register, so you'll only lose the uninterested. Put a capcha in the registration page and dump those auto-bots. Another guy had a math problem (simple, of course) to reduce the less desirable.
